Although not a native of Texas, Evan is thrilled to be here on the South Plains.where you can wake up with him every day on KLBK-13 This Morning. Evan has worked in newsrooms in four states, bringing years of experience as an anchor, producer and reporter.
His news philosophy is simple--deliver honest and timely news in the most relevant, interesting and entertaining ways possible. If you've had a chance to watch Evan and his partner-in-crime, Meteorologist Lynae Myer, in the mornings or on the KLBK-13 News at Noon...then you know the two of them like to have a bit of fun...while bringing you all the information that is important to you.

As he puts it, "there's enough negative news out there. I want to remind people of all the good going on the community."
Evan's found much to love here in West Texas, from the people to the arts and the activities. When he's not at work, you can find him being dragged behind his adopted beast-dog Bear, at the movies, cooking at home, watching the big game at a Hub City sports bar, or playing soccer.
Evan's family lives in Colorado. He majored in Broadcast Journalism and Minored in Philosophy at the University of Missouri-Columbia.
