All most one year after the disappearance of State School workers Peggy Merimon and Kay Harrelson, the Merimon family said that they are still dedicated to looking for Peggy.

Peggy merimon and Kay Harrelson were last seen August 9 of last year getting into the car of who Lubbock Police are now calling a suspect.

Harrelson's body was found 10 days later near Shallowater, but despite numerous searches there has been no sign of Peggy.

"Not hearing nothing and not finding nothing," said Peggy's husband Gearl Merimon, "you know, you just are constantly thinking , 'Where she at? What has he done with her?' It's a lot of stress."

But the stress and lack of new information from police has not deterred the Merimon family.

On August 4, the Merimon's will be holding a benefit concert at Buffalo Springs Lake to help fund future searches.

Various Texas Country performers will be there. Admission is $12.
