 David Collier is in his fourth year/season as KAMC 28 Sports Director but fifth in Lubbock. He started as a reporter then KLBK weekend sports anchor before taking over KAMC 28 Sports Director duties. David also serves as the host of "The Bob Knight Show" which airs Sunday's at 5:30 pm and again following the news at 10:35 pm. Prior to working in Lubbock, David served as Weekend Sports Anchor at the KMVT in Twin Falls, Idaho. While there, he had the chance to cover the College of Southern Idaho, one of the top junior college basketball programs in the nation. He also learned to like coffee so he could stay warm while cover high school sports in the Magic Valley.
David was born in Tennessee but moved frequently spending time in North Carolina and Japan before ending up in Oklahoma. He graduated from the University of Oklahoma in 1999. When he's not working he enjoys spending time with his wife, Karri, and daughter, Blair. Watch David every weeknight at 6pm & 10pm on KAMC 28.
