Karla Leslie has worked in Lubbock television for over 20 years. You can see
Karla weeknights on KAMC News at 5:00, 6:00 and 10:00 p.m. co-anchoring with
Bryan Mudd. Karla grew up in Lubbock and says she really enjoys getting to know
the people of our community. She sees her job as a mission to help area young
people. Some of Karla's special projects throughout the year include various
fund raisers. She has hosted the "Texas Boys Ranch Telethon" for many years and
produces the stories showcasing the ranch that air during the telethon. Karla is
big supporter of the U.S. Marines "Toys for Tots" campaign.
Working along side the men and women in uniform, to make sure that every child gets a gift Christmas Day. Karla also hosts the annual "Goodwill Style Show" and the "Tea Party", that benifits the South Plains Childrens Shelter. Karla is married and has two children.
