Adam grew up in the Air Force although he spent most of his late childhood growing up in Clovis, NM. He graduated high school from Grady, NM and attended Northland College (Ashland, WI) for his Bachelor of Science degree in Meteorology. While in school, he led the creation of a student chapter of the National Weather Association and was the President of the group for 2 1/2 years. During his final year of school, he was the weekend weathercaster for the ABC affiliate in Duluth, MN.
Now an official meteorologist, Adam is proud to return to the area he considers home, joining KAMC in 2007. Adam has dreamt of dealing with weather since the age of 6, although with Meteorology being a broad field, didn't plan on working in TV until college. His goal is to further the science of weather while having a good time telling people about the weather. When Adam is not in the Weather Lab, he spends his time traveling, tinkering with his truck, and enjoying the company of his wife, also a meteorologist. |
