Julie joined the KAMC 28 News Team in June 2008. She is excited to be back home in the Lone Star State after spending four years north of the Red River.  She graduated from the University of Oklahoma (Boomer Sooner!) with a degree in Journalism and a minor in Spanish. While in college, Julie anchored, produced, and reported for OU Nightly, Oklahoma's top-ranked student newscast. She interned for CBS News in New York City, where she worked primarily with the Evening News with Katie Couric and The Early Show. Julie also interned at KOCO in Oklahoma City.
    Julie grew up in Dallas, and is a Texas girl through and through (even though Oklahoma stole her away for college). When Julie is not in the newsroom, she enjoys visiting with friends and family, loves dogs, traveling, reading, and trying to cook in her tiny kitchen. Oh, and Oklahoma football. (She's learning, though, to Get her Guns Up!!)
