Kristen Kennedy joined the KAMC 28 News team in June 2008.  Originally from South Carolina, Kristen is thrilled to be in the Lone Star State.
 Kristen graduated with honors from Elon University in Elon, North Carolina.  While in college, Kristen spent a semester in London and got to travel all over Europe.  She was a reporter and anchor for her university's student-run newscast, Phoenix14News.  Kristen has interned in four different newsrooms, her favorite being NBC's London bureau.

    Kristen loves living in the Hub City and covering stories she would never have had the opportunity to chase if she had stayed on the East Coast.  When she's not at the station, Kristen likes to go out with friends, lay by the pool with a good book in hand, and spend time with her dog Cooper.  If you have a story idea, send it her way at kkennedy@kamc28.tv .
