By: Kristen Kennedy
Updated: July 19, 2008
Finding forever families for foster children. Thats what members of the Foster*A*Life Program work to achieve each day. This Saturday they grilled out to promote awareness of adoption and celebrate with children. The agency works to provide resources to foster families and make sure all children can take advantage of lifes opportunities. Todays cookout was just a taste of whats planned in the next few weeks for the Foster*A*Life agency. "These kids have big hearts and they really want a forever family and for people to get involved. I think that will be the best thing that theyve probably ever done in their life," says Dr. Shaun Keel, the founder of Foster*A*Life. The event was also a way to kick off their Hub City Beach Party celebration. This major fundraiser will be on Saturday, August 2nd at the Cactus Courtyard. Theyll have a live band and contests going on throughout the day.
