Another arson in Lubbock County leaves many wondering if their home could be next.
Yesterday's fire in South Lubbock County is just one of a string of fires set intentionally this summer.
Over the weekend, firefighters responded to two blazes in Lubbock.
Garett Nelson with the Lubbock Fire Department says most of the arsons this year have occurred in vacant houses.
He recommends keeping your property clean to avoid being a target.
"Don't have things around that are easy for people to use. Most arsonists use whatever's available at hand to set the fire with," Nelson says.
He also suggests, if you own vacant property, make sure it is properly boarded up.
