Citibus is feeling the pinch of gas prices, and officials say they have no choice but to raise their rates again. Citibus says gas prices will set them back more than $600,000 this year, and a fare increase is one way to help cover some of that extra cost. Theyll be asking the City Council for the 20% increase, meaning itll cost you $1.50 to ride, rather than $1.25. Says John Wilson of Citibus, "We only have so much money in the budget to handle these things, even the city council is coming up with alot more money for us, but part of the solution is to come up with the fare increase."
