Police are searching for two men accused of robbing three people at gunpoint in a Southwest Lubbock home and then taking off in one of the victim's cars.
The victims say it happened around 10:30 Sunday morning. They say the suspects knocked on the door and when they answered, the two hispanic men pushed their way in and started ransacking the place. One of the men had a gun with a red laser and forced the two male victims to lay face down on the floor. The third victim, Angie Padilla, says she hid in the bathroom when she heard the commotion, but it wasn't long before the robbers found her and kicked down the door. Padilla says, "When he brought me out of the bathroom, he had the gun to my forehead and threw me to the bedroom ... When I got up, he had the gun behind my back on my cervical spine ... Then he said if we looked at him or made any contact, opened our eyes, or did not look directly toward the ground, he would murder us." They were last seen fleeing the scene in a 2006 blue Chevy Impala that they stole from one of the victims. The suspects are described as hispanic men in their late 20's with dark hair.
