Another Lubbock family is homeless tonight following an early morning fire.

The fire started just before 9:00 this morning at the 100 block of 81st Street.

Fire investigators say a woman living in the house accidentally started the fire with a cigarette.

That woman, Tina Marie Folley, was taken to University Medical Center with minor burns on her leg.

Six people lived in the home, including a 75 year old woman.

Linda Box was one of the people who lived at the home.

Linda says, "We've got to find somewhere else, I don't know if Momma's gonna plan on trying to start over or not.  We've already had so much money sunk into this house."

The family is planning to set up a memorial fund at a local bank.

We will let you know any information about the fund as soon as we get it.
