The Lubbock Renegades used near perfect clock management down the stretch against the Central Valley Coyotes. "Near" being the key word.
Robert Kent scored the game tying touchdown with four seconds left in the game, with the extra point to follow. But after Chris Balseiro's PAT was blocked, keeping the game tied, the Coyotes took advantage. Aleric Clark took the ensuing kickoff 56 yards for the game winner as time expired.
The loss drops Lubbock to 4-6 with three of their losses coming by a touchdown or less.
