"I was cooking barbecue down at my lot and I saw that there was smoke coming up," said Jared Knight, who witnessed the crash.
The smoke was building from cars parked at the Frank Brown dealership at 58th and Frankford. Just minutes after a motorcycle crashed into the parked cars.
"Motorcycle had hit the Tahoe and and Navigator, the individual had flown over and was on the ground," said Knight.
Jared Knight was down the street when he saw the smoke, he said he rushed over to find out what caused the fire. Witnesses said the man didn't appear to be burned. But his injuries so severe, there was blood in the dealership's parking lot.
"His chest caved in, leg all slashed up," said Knight.
Sources say the driver had just left the Harley Davidson motorcycle dealership after buying his new motorcycle. The car dealership is barely a half a mile away from the Harley store. There was a paper license tag on the motorcycle. Witnesses said he lost control at this stop sign. Employees from Frank Brown and surrounding dealerships all rushed in to help the man.
"All did what he had to do to get things done make sure he was okay," said Knight.
