Teens Raise Money for Fallen Soldier

We brought you the story of 20 year-old Angelo Shane Allen, a former Lubbock Estacado High School student who died Tuesday after a car accident near Fort Hood. Now two of his friends want to give back to the man who gave so much to our country. Fawn Ramirez and Ari Altamirano organized a yard sale at Estacado today. All money raised will go towards the Allen familys funeral fund. Ramirez says part of Allens family lives in Chicago and will need to fly down for his funeral. "He was just a really awesome person, Angelo was. Hes so awesome we decided were his friends and were gonna be awesome for him just like he was to everyone else," says Ramirez. She tells us the Allen family doesnt know when the funeral will be held. Members of the family are still waiting to fly into Texas.
