"My favorite is corn dogs. I'm looking for fried pickles," said one fair goer.
This year at the South Plains fair you'll find all the classic fair foods--corn dogs, fried pickles, lemonade, and even fried Snickers.
"Trinity Church started doing this about six years ago. It's the only place here at the fair that you can come by and have a fried snickers," said Jeremy with Trinity Church.
But you'll also find some new creations like fried s'mores.
"I love s'mores and if it's fried its probably better," said one woman at the fair.
But that's not the only new dessert at the park. I got to try a new twist on an old favorite--red velvet funnel cake with cream cheese icing. It was delicious.
"We can't give you the secret ingredient, but that's kind of what we have done, just concocted something. Threw it together and it came out just fine. It's been great. It's been a big seller this year."
For those of you looking for a salty fix, you may want to check out Corn-in A Cup.
"This whole kernel corn is served with mayonnaise. Its got butter on it with parmesan cheese. You can have any or all of those things and it's good and creamy," said the LCU Corn-in-a-Cup vendor.
The South Plains Fair is open until Saturday, so be sure to check out the tasty treats before then.
