Last week, while the Texas Tech Red Raiders were sitting at home this weekend watching all the action they took a jump in the statistical rankings on both sides of the ball.
The offense went into last week ranked 6th in total offense and now they rank 2nd, averaging nearly 600 yards of offense per game, which comes out to about 7 yards per play this season. With the starters only playing about 1-half of football in each of those first three games, the Red Raiders look to be firing on all cylinders as they begin Big 12 Conference play.
