WWII Veterans Fly From Lubbock to Washington, D.C.

WWII veterans and guardians will fly to Washington, D.C. today to visit the WWII Memorial. 

The flight is supported by the nonprofit organization America Supports You Texas and the National Honor Flight so the veterans could make this trip for free.

This is the first veteran's trip to the WWII Memorial from Lubbock.

The memorial was built in 2004 and cost a total of $175 million.
