Utility Assistance for Elderly, Disabled
By: Administrator
Updated: October 3, 2012
The City of Lubbock received additional funding in July for the Comprehensive Energy Assistance Program (CEAP) for utility assistance and funds are still available. Services are for low-income Lubbock County residents and must be elderly (60 or older) or disabled (receiving SSI, SSdi, VA disability, long-term disability or some other form of disability).
If you need assistance with your electric, gas or propane bill and you are elderly age 60 or older call Neighborhood House at 806-741-0459.
If you are disabled age 59 and younger call LIFE Run Centers at 806-795-5433.
