Wind gusts of up to 70 miles an hour took their toll on several buildings in Hale County last night. The worst of the damage was at the Eco Drip building just north of Abernathy. Strong winds ripped off the roof, sending parts of it almost 100 yards from the building. Rain poured inside the structure, soaking insulation and damaging computers. Employees say, now theyre just trying to clean up and start over. Says Darren Hillger, "All the employees came today and are doing everything they can to help out and to clear this place out and do whatever it takes to get us running again."
