Anton Schools on Lockdown as Precaution

By: Administrator
Updated: October 4, 2012
Schools in Anton went into lockdown today, as a precaution when a parent received a terroristic threat.

The District says the threat was not directed toward any of the schools or any of their students.

The District did send a text message to parents to let them know the schools were in lockdown.

The Superintendent stressed that the lockdown was only a precaution.

The Hockley County Sheriff's department is investigating the threat against the parent.

The lockdown may continue through Friday.
