Crews spent the day out at 82nd and Quaker working on this traffic light.
After a wreck that happened this morning at 2 a-m.
Police spent the day directing traffic at one Lubbock's busiest intersections in South Lubbock, and businesses in the area they say LPD did the best they could.
"When I was on 82nd and Quaker they really moved us through quickly," said Marlowe Malouf of Drest by Scott Malouf.
She said despite the traffic delays, business stayed pretty steady.
"Traffic in the store has been steady," she said, "The police did a great job of getting everyone through."
But this hasn't been the first time police have had to do this.
"I have to say the last wreck was a couple of months ago and it was pretty bad."
Malouf says she remembers the fatal accident that claimed the life of Sherri Swan back in August.
She said thankfully that wasn't the situation today.
"No big delays, I thought they handled it very well."
