Lubbock Police Seach for Armed Robbers

Lubbock Police are investigating gunfire a shooting in the 3700 block of 41st street, once they got the call around 10:00 p.m. Wednesday.

Police tell us 22-year-old Daniel Weatherford was walking down the street, when, he says, several men approached him and asked for his money.

During the robbery, one of the five suspects pulled a gun and shot Weatherford in the leg.
He was also hit in the head with some sort of object.

 An EMS crew took him to the hospital.

So far, there are no suspects or arrests in the case and police continue the investigation.
