Texas Tech Baseball Players Making Headlines

Red Raider Sophomore Roger Kieschnick was selected as a member of the USA Baseball National Team for the second year in a row. Roger one of three Big 12 players making appearances on this year's team. Also in the news on Wednesday, former Red Raider Chris Sampson involved in a scuffle with fellow Astros teammate Dan Wheeler. Wheeler blew Sampson's lead in the 8th inning and Sampson went to talk to Wheeler in the dugout, but Sampson was physically rebuffed. Wheeler apologized saying his actions were just a result of his frustration.
