The Men's basketball team set to begin practice tomorrow, as the preseason Coaches Poll aas released today, with Texas Tech slotted in 8th.

No one was really expecting this team to be picked particularly high after struggling last year and going through everything this off-season with former head coach Billy Gillispie, But Chris Walker is ready to turn the page with this team and I spoke with his former coach at Villanova, Jay Wright, and he said this was really just a matter of time for his former player, and assistant coach to get an opportunity, And Texas Tech is a great place for him to have it.
