Coronado Gets First District Win 21-9 Over Odessa

The area's lone 5A team the Coronado Mustangs looking to get their first win in District 2-5A against a winless Odessa High Bronchos team.
First drive for Coronado, trouble here as the snap goes into the endzone for a safety, 2-0 Odessa.
A defensive battle out at Lowrey, under 2 minutes to go in the half, Greg Hewett's screen pass to Robert Lee, who picks up the first down.
Two plays later, Hewett finds Lee again, this time for pay dirt. Coronado finds the endzone just before the end of the half and the extra point is good so they take a 7-2 lead into the locker room.
Odessa High gets their first win in District, 21-9. Next up for Coronado another huge test on the road against Abilene High.
