First Responders Busy on the Scene of Two Fatal Wrecks

The first wreck happened around 11:00 p.m. .
Police says 37-year-old Robert Hernandez was traveling southbound on the 8100 block of Ash avenue when he ran the stop sign and colllided with another vehicle on the drivers side.
Hernandez was ejected from his vehicle
Both drivers were taken to UMC where Hernandez was pronounced dead.
The other driver is facing non-life threatening injuries.
A short time after that wreck first responders were called to the scene of another wreck where 71-year-old Gayland McGill was prounounced dead.
Investigators says McGill was traveling south bound in the 1800 block of North Frankford when she failed to maintan a single lane and left the roadway on the west side of the road.
She ran into the concrete culvert and went airborne. The front end of the vehicle landed head first casuing the behicle to roll several times.
The vehicle then collided with a fence and McGill was ejected.
