A couple who visited the Hub City is now thinking twice about coming back. CD and Shelly Bridges spent a night in their rental car instead of their hotel room. The Bridges stayed at the Days Inn on 4th Street last Wednesday, Thursday and Friday night. When they asked if there were any vacancies for Saturday night, staff checked them into a different room and handed over a new key. The Bridges came back late that night and found another guest in their bed. "We slept in the car. We went out, got in the car, drove around the corner and slept in the car. We came back in the next morning, to find out what was going on, and the manager tells us it happens," say the Bridges. The owner of the Days Inn says the Bridges were never given a key to the vacant room and were never charged for Saturday nights stay.
