By: Matt Roberts
Updated: October 17, 2012

The Texas Tech football team continued their preparations for TCU this weekend.

With their big win over West Virginia last weekend, Texas Tech has been garnering some national attention this week, jumping all the way up to number 17 in the first BCS poll of 2012. But this team knows that things can change in a heart beat like last season. And they want to make sure they aren't reading too much into all of this attention, and praise they are receiving, after last weeks game.
