Police Investigating Death Inside Lubbock Apartment

Lubbock Police spent Tuesday evening investigating a person found dead inside their north Lubbock apartment.
Police were called to the Corte Vista apartments at 102 Waco Dr. just after 4:00 p.m. on a check welfare call. Dispatchers told arriving officers neighbors reported not seeing the resident for several days before they called.
When they arrived they found a man laying dead in his apartment.
Police conducted a full homicide call-out because it was not immediately clear how the man died. By late Tuesday night investigators said it appeared the man's death did not involve foul play.
