Rawls College of Business Energy Commerce Program to Light up Tent City

Day's events will include an educational seminar on solar energy.

 

WHAT:           Texas Tech University's Rawls College of Business Energy Commerce students will install solar lighting at Lubbock's Tent City.

 

WHEN:           Saturday (Oct. 27)

                        10 a.m.: Solar energy education seminar

                        Noon: Lunch - hamburgers and hot dogs will be served, free to attendees.

                        1 p.m.: Completion of solar lighting panels at Tent City.

 

WHERE:         13th Street and Avenue A

 

EVENT:          Texas Tech students, faculty and community members host opportunities for citizens to get involved with the lighting of Tent City. An educational seminar on solar energy is scheduled in the morning, followed by the installation of the solar lighting taking place immediately before and after lunch.
