Drop down to District 2-3A where it is an absolute dogfight where Shallowater looked to be sailing off into the sunset with this district but they were dealt a tough hand this week as they will be without junior, all-world running back Jarek Black and they have to face another district unbeaten in Andrews.

First drive, Mustang ball, Conner Fields finding Carson Ogle across the middle who almost gets tripped up but he'll take it down to the one yard line.

A couple plays later, Cameron Knight takes it in for the score, Mustangs with an early lead 7-0.

Later in first, Tyler Sturdivant hands off to Kade Willis, defenders dropping like flies and soon he's all alone. He takes it in for the TD but it will get called back. Officials say he stepped out of bounds. But Mustangs say no problem. Later in the drive they'll answer with another Fields-Ogle combo. Shallowater scores and they take the 14-0 lead.

Shallowater wins 34-7.
