Before last season, Texas Tech had won five straight over Kansas State. Part of that streak were two wins in Manhattan in 2008 and 2004. That was a while ago and the Wildcats are a different team this year.

Head Coach Tommy Tuberville likened the atmosphere to Jack Trice Stadium at Iowa State where the Red Raiders won their first conference game of 2012, 24-13. Now, Tech is hoping for the same type of result against Kansas State.
