Fifty dancers from Lubbock's Dance Gallery will travel to Disneyland on Thursday to perform in the Disneyland Christmas Parade.

That parade will be recorded and then televised nationally on ABC Christmas morning.

The girls, ranging from elementary students to college students, auditioned earlier this year and were selected along with other studios from across the nation for this magical opportunity.

The Dance Gallery will also perform in another parade on Friday that will not be televised.

The girls said it's a great opportunity to be a Disney star for the day and to represent the Lone Star State, "We're the only group from Texas and Lubbock is not that big compared to big towns in Texas so it's very exciting."
