On the basketball side of things, Chris Walker's squad is getting prepared for their first action of the season against the UT-Permian Basin Falcons.
But with so many new faces there will be plenty of competition for starting spots and playing time. And as the first game draws closer coach Walker and his staff are starting to get a better idea of who will be playing certain roles, just by watching them practice on a day-to-day basis.
