Tech Baseball Wraps Up Red And Black Series

From the gridiron to the diamond, The Texas Tech baseball team continuing its Red and Black series. The Red team evened the series with a five-run second inning smash over the Black team. Today the final game 3.

In the rubber match, the Black team getting started in the top of the second, Nick Gibert doubling to left-center and that scores Brennam Moore, 1-0 Black.

Carrying momentum into the top of the third with runners on first and second, Mason Randolph finding the gap in right, Devon Conley coming into score, but Tim Proudfoot is gunned down out at the plate, 2-0 Black.

More from the Black team in the top of the fourth, it's Gibert again, back up the middle, that scores Moore, 3-0 Black.

But the Red finally answering in the bottom of the fourth with a runner on third, Jake Barrios to right that scores a run and he's in sliding with a triple. Red finally on the board at 4-1.

The Black team will take the final 8-3, taking the series as well.
