Monterey Handles Lake View 35-3

Now to Monterey taking on San Angelo Lakeview, looking to improve their playoff position.
The Plainsman quick out of the gate, Jacob Bartholomae keeps it, 30 yards and he's in, 7-0 Monterey.
In the second, this time handing off to Travon Benton up the middle, big time run inside the Chiefs 5-yard line. That worked, how about some more Benton, taking the handoff and he's in the endzone. Early 14-0 lead for Monterey.
The defense also strong for the Plainsman, Alan Moreno trying get Lake View going but Jordan Silva slinging him down, but the chiefs eventually getting on the board with a field goal, 14-3 Monterey at that point.
