Penalties, penalties, penalties, yes I'm talking about penalties. It was the ultimate reason to the short coming of the Red Raiders. Facing UT this weekend and Tech actually didnt play a bad game. However, the Red Raiders went 9 penalties for 85 total yards and all at the wrong time. They got a false start pushing Tech further away from first down, a personal foul by tech that caused a turnover on downs, as well as a touchdown that was called back late in the fourth because of a holding call. So penalties are very detrimental in a teams success.
