West Texas and the Lubbock Railway opened a newly remodeled station last March that adds a vintage touch. The locomotive shop is a refurbished 1920's building originally built for Whiteface, Texas.

Young and old board the train and listen to a reading of the Polar Express while they enjoy hot chocolate and cookies. Kids are also invited to wear their pajamas on the train, like the children in the story of the Polar Express.

When you get to the North Pole Santa and his elves sing Christmas carols and every child gets a silver bell to keep.

The Polar Express runs at 4:30, 6:30, and 8:30 pm from November 16th to January 6th (except November 26th).
