Friday Night Shooting Leaves One Dead

"It's been hard. I mean, that's my little brother. That's my baby brother," said Jessica Baltazar, Fabien Castillo's sister. "And my mom's taking it hard. Everybody's taking it hard."
Police say Castillo, 22, was shot during a fight in the parking lot outside the Cricket Court Apartments just after 7 Friday night.
"I hear they were trying to rob him, I guess get whatever he had," said Baltazar. "But I mean, Fabien didn't have much."

"He was a good person," said Castillo's cousin, Naomi Rios. "He cared about his kids, his wife, his family."
We're told Castillo leaves behind two young children, one a new born baby boy.
"We're gonna miss him," said Baltazar. "We're gonna miss him a lot."
Police arrested several people last night on unrelated charges but made clear those arrested could also be connected.
Police confirmed today that no charges have been filed at this time.
