The Post Antelopes have been a pleasant surprise this year compiling an 8-1 record on the season but this district is only big enough for one Antelope.

As the Abernathy Antelopes would like to hand post their first loss of the season.

Big one tonight down Highway 84. In the 1st D.J. Brown takes the handoff, and lookout, he's got room and he is into the secondary, until he is finally brought down by an Abernathy defender.

And that would be huge for Abernathy because post would have to settle for a field goal its 3-0 Post.

Still in the first here Abernathy having some trouble with the snap, and Aaron Rosas is taken down in the backfield still 3-0 Post.

Very next play Pake Jones takes the ball and gets it all the way down to the three yard line but he coughs it up as he is being tackled, but there's look what I found D.J. Brown right there falls on top of it 10-0.

And the Antelopes would take care of business tonight and a year after missing the playoffs, they are district champions, they win it 21-14.
