The Cooper Pirates coming into town fighting for their playoff lives. In a muddled District 2-3A. The Pirates on the outside looking in, needing a lot to happen to make their way back to the postseason. Starting with a win against Estacado, the Matadors. Already in the playoffs for the 6th straight year. First drive of the game, Jalen Tennison hands off to Tamory Terry who goes up the middle of the touchdown Estacado takes the 7-0 lead...

Still in the First Travis Windham fakes the handoff and is going to keep it on his own for the touchdown, Cooper is within one. Back and forth we go here Tennison is going to find T.C. Courtney who dives into the endzone for the touchdown, Matadors take the 14-6 lead.

Now we are in the 2nd Cooper has the ball, Stanton Keane gets the handoff and finds his way in for the score but Estacado still in front 20-12.

The Pirates playing comeback here and it worked on the other end so lets do it here in the 3rd Keane scores and ties the game at 20.

But the Mat's would answer as they take it in for the touchdown right here to take the 26-20 lead but Cooper winning when they had to they take it 34-27.
