Texas Tech Beats Kansas In 2OT, 41-34

Texas Tech holds on for a double overtime victory to keep the Kansas Jayhawks winless in the Big 12.
Today also a heart felt one as the
older guys of the team were celebrated on Senior Day.
We'll pick it up in the second quarter, Tech ball and Doege with a 16-yard pass to Tyson Williams for the touchdown. Tech up 14-7.
Later, Doege to another one of his
weapons, Darrin Moore, a 6-yard pass to tack on to the lead 21-7.
Doege on the pass and he's picked off by Bradley McDougald at the Kansas 39, and it is returned for 32 yards to Tech's 39 and Kansas will capitalize, Cummings' pass complete to Brandon Bourbon for a 10 yard touchdown, cutting Tech's lead 21-14.
Kansas will also get a field goal going into the half Tech up 21-17. To the second half, Tech ball and it's a double pass from Doege to Austin Zouzalik and back to Doege 29-yards to gain a first down. Same drive and Eric Ward would drop the pass from Doege, Tech will settle for a field goal to go up 24-17.
On into the fourth, Kansas 2nd and goal and
Cummings to Sims, he takes in from 3-yards out for the score, Tech 27-24.
Tech ball on the Jayhawks 12 and it's 4th & 2, Tech going for it but will miss by inches and Kansas will takeover from there.
And the Jayhawks will capitalize
again. Cummings with a 44-yard bust and that will result in a field goal to tie
the game at 27. Prolago with a career long 32-yard FG and we're going into overtime.
Kansas first possession, Sims getting it done, catching a 5-yard pass from Cummings to get the touchdown.
Tech responds, 1st and goal and Eric
Stephens leaps up and over in for the touchdown.
Now in double overtime. Tech gets the ball first this time and Eric Stephens to Darrin Moore for the TD to take the lead, 41-34.
Kansas will try to score but can't get it done. Texas Tech wins in double overtime, 41-34.
