Tonight, the mother on of the escapees pleads for her son to turn himself in.
Melody Carter of Hale Center says she was shocked when she heard her son, Larry Mclendon Jr. had escaped from a Clovis Jail.
She says she had just spoken to him on the phone recently, and that he was supposedly on his way to innocence.
But tonight, after a visit from police, Ms. Carter fears for her son's life.
Because she says police told her the next time she saw him, it might be in a body bag.
So there's one message she wants to make clear if he happens to be watching tonight... to turn himself in.
Melody Carter: Please turn yourself in Bubba, I love you. I don't know what I would do without you, so please turn yourself in."
