Saturday Incident Out Of Character For Tuberville

On Monday, head coach Tommy Tuberville addressed the incident from Saturday between he and graduate assistant, Kevin Oliver.
Now Big 12 Commissioner Bob Bowlsby came out this afternoon and issued a public reprimand of coach Tuberville. He did not consider Tuberville's action a "slap" and as far as he is concerned the matter is closed. During Tuberville's career going all the way back to his time at Ole Miss, this was completely out of character for him, and the reports of him hitting or "slapping" his assistant were just not true.
