Today was the early signing period
for high school athletes for a few sports, allowing future college athletes to
sign their National Letters of Intent.
One of those was decorated Lubbock high swimmer Madisyn Cox. She will do her swimming for the University of Texas for the next four years. Madisyn, qualified for the Olympic trials earlier this summer. On her laundry list of accomplishments Madisyn has number district, regional and even a state championship. But even with all those accomplishments this day ranks as one of the most special of her swimming career.
