Tech Basketball Tested but Moves to 4-0

The Tech basketball team moved their
record to 4-0 with a 84-75 win on Monday Night.
Chris Wlkers team averaging over 90
points a game, and rocking the new grey uniforms on Monday night.
But Jackson State
jumped out to the big lead thanks to Tech's
inability to get defensive rebounds at times, as Derrell Taylor, gave the Tigers
the 11-1 lead early on.
But then Jaye Crockett stopped the
bleeding by knocking down the three to get Tech going, he finished with 20
points and 8 rebounds.
Then the big man Kader Tapsoba got a
follow slam to tie the game at 12. Tech trailed 33-30 at the half.
But they came out white hot in the
2nd half, as Dejan Kravic Got the lay-up 40-33. capping an 11-0 run to start
the 2nd half.
Later, Trency Jackson, From Jackson,
Mississippi, got a steal and the slam, putting Tech up by 10.
The Tigers would pull within 1, But Josh Gray, knocked down a corner three, to make it 63-59. Gray had 12 in the game, and it wasn't pretty at times but tech hung in there to get the 84-75 win.
