It was the toughest test so far for the Red Raider Basketball team facing the Jackson State Tigers Monday night.

Texas Tech took the win 84-75 but it wasn't easy. The Red Raiders went into the half following a poor shooting performance that left them trailing the Tigers by 3.

Tech shot 36 percent in the first half including just 1-10 from behind the arc.

The Tigers kept attacking in the second half pulling within one point with over nine minutes left to play, but in the end Tech handled the adversity and grabbed their fourth consecutive win.
