You can drop off toys at the South Plains Mall as well as the Marines Warehouse at 512 East 42nd Street.

While toys are still needed Lubbock Toys for Tots organizer Corporal Amy Siegfried said one of the biggest donations you can make to Toys for Tots is your time.

"On the 14th and 15th of December its going to be our biggest sorting days. We're going to have toys coming in all day. They can just again, go on the website and I'll contact them with dates and times that they can come down here but the biggest thing we need is just sorting the toys into different genders and age groups."

If you are a family in need you can still register to be in the Toys for Tots program. You can go to the Marines warehouse and sign up December 5th and December 7th from 9:00-11:00 am. You need to bring your photo I-D, the birth certificates and social security cards for each child, along with proof of income and something yo verify your address like a utility bill or other piece of mail. The toys will be distributed on December 17th and 18th at the Marines warehouse so they will be there for Christmas morning. You can go onto toysfortots.org for more information and if you want to donate you can bring toys to the warehouse or to the South Plains Mall.
