Family of Murder Victim Ask for Help

By: Danielle Todesco
Updated: September 3, 2008

Friends and family of the woman found dead in Lubbock County last month are asking for your help tonight.  29-year-old Monica Adams was found dead near an oil rig in late August and police say there are still no suspects in the case.

Early results from her autopsy revealed she died from several blunt force blows to the head.  Now her niece Crystal Willis says they are still trying to find the person responsible, and they're needing help with money for a proper funeral for Adams.

"I love her and I really miss her and I wish she wasn't gone.  And I beg and plead if anybody has any information to please send it to detective Williams because we need to find this person."

The Victims of Crime are helping to pay for some of the funeral, but the family still needs some help.  Donations can be made at:

Mark Jones Funeral Home
P.O. Box 1317
Brownfield, TX 79316

or

Lubbock View Christian Church
3301 34th St.
